Hi guys,
I wanna say I just got my score (120) using solely the advice on this board.
Specifically, I went through:
templates--> posted by rid82
youtube videos --> posted by resh
eng101 practice questions --> posted by jb2010
Other miscellaneous advice:
a) Definitely do not read the passages first. This isn't the GMAT, you guys... just go question by question.
b) Definitely do not take notes during listening. It's just too easy to need notes -they will not ask you very detailed stuff. Just listen carefully and make sure you remember the "on the other hand, he later discovered that...". Those general bits are what they actually ask questions about, rather than the specifics.
c) Follow the templates on speaking and writing. I didn't do anything that I wasn't told in those videos/templates. Perhaps the only thing is that I did speak a bit more colloquially than the guy in the videos suggested. In other words, don't be afraid of saying things like "you know" or things like that.
Good luck!
