Max has 30% more marbles than Paul has ==> 1.3 * 80 = 104
Justin has 50% fewer marbles than Max has ==> 0.5 * 104 = 52

Hence option C is correct

We can let j = the number of marbles Justin has, m = the number of marbles Max has and p = the number of marbles Paul has. Thus we can create the following equations:

j = 0.5m

m = 1.3p

and

p = 80

So m = 1.3(80) = 104 and j = 0.5(104) = 52. Justin has 52 marbles.

Answer: C
