I've read everywhere on this forum that you get much lower scores on the Kaplan CATs than GMATprep and Manhattan CATs. How is this possible???
I just took the first CAT on the CD that came with the GMAT premier 2011 book (are they the same as the internet version?) and got the following score:
Overall 730
Quant: 50 (scaled score)
Questions - 30 correct / 7 wrong
Verbal: 40 (scaled score)
Questions - 31 correct / 10 wrong
No way my Quant is that good. I usually rely on my Verbal to drag up my overall score (usually score with the top 5 percentile), since I always make careless mistakes (which I'm working on). The math questions were drop dead easy compared to the ones in
MGMAT (which I hate their DS inequalities). Did Kaplan make their tests easiers or are the CDs different from their online test?
I'll take my first GMATprep test tomorrow to check my score again.
