Hi All,
I'm new to the forum so if I am not following the rules here please let me know!
I did the Kaplan online practice test today. And I got a 720 (Q51V35).
I would be happy with that, except it was really strange. For the quants, I got almost 1/3 wrong (a lot higher than I expected) and maybe 40% of the verbal wrong. Yet I still got 97th percentile for quants and 83rd for verbal. Was the scores accurate? It feels that it should be a lot lower.... please help!

It's possible that there's a glitch in the program, but I agree that those scores don't quite line up with the performance.
Have you taken either of the 2 free practice CATs available at www.mba.com (they're the most accurate CATs on the market)?
For the sake of earning a realistic score result, it's also important to take each CAT in a fashion that is as close to 'test-like' as possible. That means that you have to take the ENTIRE CAT (including the Essay and IR sections), take it in a test-like environment, away from your home and do nothing else that would be considered unrealistic (pausing the Exam, listening to music, etc.).
When are you planning to take the GMAT?
What is your goal score?

Thanks for the reply.
It certainly felt weird. The math part was unexpectedly hard, and I was a bit surprised to see that many wrong. Either way, Q51 was wrong for sure.
I have no tried the GMATPrep ones, will likely try one this coming weekend. Are they reliable as a true score indicator?
