Hi,
I got accepted to both, with 50% scholarship from IU and full scholarship from BU.
I plan to go into consulting or management in NYC or DC post-graduation, then transition into corporate senior management (CFO, VP of Finance).
I also want some CSR/sustainability mixed in there, which BU has a specific program for (Social Impact).
I know that Kelley places a few people at MBB but I don't know how many actually get in.
My GMAT is 700+ so that won't be a problem when I apply.
I don't think BU places any at MBB, but the Big 4 are major employers at both.
Kelley is higher ranked and more renowned, but even after the cheaper cost of living, I don't know if it's worth paying the $50k vs. $0 over the two years.
Also the contrast of college town vs. big city, midwest vs. northeast - would that make a big difference in finding a job in NYC?
I was also considering applying to Emory, USC, UNC and Cargenie Mellon before I got my results - should I still apply in R2?
Any advice is appreciated.
Thank you!
