If R2 applicants on forums are anything to go by, it seems that there aren't that many. So I guess that might be good for those of us on the waitlist.

Does anybody have any numbers though? I spoke to my waitlist manager last week, she said there's going to be some movement in 2 - 3 weeks time. That would be around the first week of march.

Rumors are that round 2 is not as strong at round 1 was as far as the amount of applicants - so I am routing for you guys!

Just sent off a waitlist update letter. Conveyed the key changes in projects at work and extracurriculars, etc. Now it's just a matter of....waiting. Any word of anybody being admitted yet from the waitlist?

hey Bruin nice to have you join. I've no idea what happened to the 30+ odd people that are also on the waitlist.. i'm hoping that they all turned down the offer to be on the waitlist :twisted:

r2 waitlisters have to wait for r3? I'm beginning to think that the r1 waitlist will only have movement towards the end of march

I'm also on the waitlist and sending updates to the adcom.

How did you find out your waitlist manager? I've been sending letters but just to the person listed in my waitlist letter.

Who's called the admissions office? Any interesting tidbits?

Also, bear in mind that the one person who was admitted off the WL was a 1yr applicant. I imagine they are in a bigger rush to close the 1yr MBA class than the 2yr/MMM classes.

Also, the R3 deadline is 3/9, so they know exactly who their applicants are after that date. With what I've heard about R2, I'm cautiously optimistic.
