I haven't heard anything either!! I believe the admissions committee must be buzy with the R2 applications..

They said they would make Decisions on the 24th as the first wave of two waves for major decisions for the current waitlist. I would not expect to hear anything until Friday at the earliest from some admits receiving calls with reality being next Monday and Tuesday with admit calls and then some updated dings.

It is my understanding that this week the adcoms will be going off to review R2 applicants, so I wouldn't expect to hear anything if you emailed your waitlist manager.

I spoke with my wait list manager, and she actually told me that the admissions committee loved everything I had going on but wanted some more clarity on my career goals. She invited me to send her a mini essay to explain how I can leverage skills gained in my current industry into the new one I'm trying to enter.

I got the same feedback.

Spoke with my waitlist manager on Wednesday. She indicated that most candidates, if not all, won't be hearing about waitlist admits for quite a while still, probably in Feb...and they are slammed right now with R2...

Got same feedback from my waitlist manager ...
She said that the statement that K will release most decisions on 24th Jan and 14th Feb in misleading.

But at least now I won't bang my head against my desk when I don't get a phone call tomorrow...

Damn, hopefully I get some kind of correspondence at least staying they are still waiting to make a decision.

I did miss 2 calls of the last 2 weeks from random numbers in the midwest. Both times I called back got a message saying the voicemail box was full. The guys name (first name) was the same as my waitlist coordinator but its a generic name. No voicemail either. Was kind of hoping it was good news, but since I have not heard anything since, I am guessing it was just a missed call.

Well, I've been trying to get in touch with my WL manager but to no avail..I called up several times over the past 15 days and also left a voicemail couple of times..I'm hesitant to call up any further, that would be just borderline stalking! Guess I just have to wait for a return call..

If I were you, I would consider contacting another admissions committee member. You can find their contact info online. My waitlist manager never got back in contact with me and I was fortunate to speak with another admissions committee member who gave me great feedback.

I was finally able to speak to my wait list contact last week. She told me that in general those who are placed on the wait list fall into 1 of 2 buckets. 1. Application is good, but the admissions committee wants to see who accepts and the application field of the second round. 2. Admission committee requires additional information. She said I actually fell in both buckets and that I needed to clarify my goals. I submitted a supplemental essay on Sunday and she informed me that it would be included in their review for today's decision but made me aware that I may not receive any decision today. (Which I haven't received anything yet)

That being said, if you didn't hear back from your wait list coordinator it probably just means that your application is fine but they're still analyzing the applicant field. Good luck people!

^^ I spoke with my WM earlier today and was told the exact same thing regarding the two reasons for being on the waitlist. I was asked not to submit any additional material since the ad-com did not have any concerns with any part of the app.

My WM did say that they would be releasing some decisions today. These would mostly be for those applicants who had been asked to submit something specific. Some more decisions might be released later this week. A bulk of the decisions would only be released on or leading up to Feb 14th.

Guys, i just heard that I got the admit today. I think I fell into the second bucket that tiredofapps was referring to. I'm not sure how many calls they are making today, but I certainly am relieved to have been accepted somewhere. Good luck to everyone and I'll try to share any additional info that I get.
