Employment report of Kellogg Class of 2013 has been published. Following are few characteristics of this year’s employment trend.
Here are some key statistics from Kellogg 2013 Class employment report. Detailed report can be found here
- Nearly 91.50% of the graduates seeking employment reported the Job acceptance.
- Consulting industry was the largest hiring sector with 38% Job acceptances and average salary of $129,570 followed by other financial services & Private equity with 13% job acceptances.
- 28% Job acceptances were through On-Campus Interview. 20% returned to their summer employers and 16% opted to return their previous employers.
- Highest reported salary for Class of 2013 is $375,000 which is offered in Investment Management function.

I hope this will start shifting the conversation away from Kellogg being a marketing school. Based on the percentages, it's a consulting school and a finance school before it's a marketing school. 
Impressive numbers all around-- employment, salary, and internship placement. Good stuff, and reflects well on Kellogg.
