I am freaking out. I just finished the second essay for Booth and the deadline is in the next 24 hours. Typically my first drafts are like real first drafts going all over the map.
Secondly now when I read my kellogg essays (I wrote non-stop in the last 24 hours of its deadline) I think they need better organization and flow.
I feel bad because i didnt write the optional essay that I should have. Does everbody write those optional essays?
BTW, did you copy-paste into the editor or upload pdf/word documents. BTW, the standard html editor was coming out weird replacing simple commas into special characters. I did upload the word documents but they were not as fancy, ofcourse, as any professionally designed PDFs.
I didn't write the Booth optional essay. They were pretty clear about it not being used to write yet another "creative essay". It was for explaining any extenuating circumstances that warrant an explanation.
I wrote my essays in google docs and uploaded the PDF generated from it.
I saw that I made a big grammar blunder, 2 sentences are just flawed and read poorly in the last paragraph of the first essay. It was a last minute change. The rest of them are ok.

Do you guys think my chances are over now?

Just came across this thread. Congrats for getting into Kellogg's. I couldn't make through. Do you know if Kellogg provides feedback. I got a very generic letter, which is not useful at all. Any ideas-
- Work Experience - around 6 years in IT - one of the top fortune companies - GMAT- lower six hundred's - Extra Curricualr- a lot in undergrad/ grad and good volunteer experience - GPA - above average required at Kellogg.
Not sure what part of my app was the deal breaker...
