Go get a girlfriend... the clubbing scene in the UK is qte happening.... I bet its more fun than this forum!

Ofcourse MOS in London... there used to be this club called LiquidRoom in Edinburgh... happening....! I remember puking in a Safeway bag outside and trying to find a place to dump the bag!

Go out and enjoy UK man!

Of course I wanted you to get admitted. I want everyone to suceed. I can just sit here and be green with envy. BTW, you never called me that morning... I slept right through :( I guess it doesnt matter, if you end up in chicago anyway :)

Hey guys... I need some insight. The website says that decisions will be mailed out by March 26 provided you request an off-campus visit before December 22. I requested early Jan and interviewed two weeks ago. Can I expect a decision soon? Forgive my ignorance, but does Kellogg make phone calls?

I am on the WL from R1. I think I originally provided my home number, so I guess that is where they would call to notify me if I got in. However, my status on the website still shows the Waitlist letter from January 8th.

they will call you if you are admitted, email if you're dinged or WL.

Hello All,

I have been a silent spectator for long (since December) and havent posted a lot of messages. I have to thank you all though for all the information you all have so candidly provided to help so many people.

I got the admit call on Friday evening. I have been admitted to the MMM program and also recieved the F.C. Austin Scholarship.

Stats:

- bachelors in engg from India (IIT), gpa: 3.8/4.00, gold medalist for all round performance (awarded to 1 student in each graduating class)
- masters in engg from an ivy league in US, gpa: 3.4/4.0
- 3.5 yrs work ex (mgmt consulting from a top tier firm; not one of the top 3 however)
- real estate start-up in 2004. still work part time on it
- 750 gmat
- extremely solid recs; big names and great detail
- decent essays (i think i could have done better if i had more time)

I have a question for all of you: is it a problem to move to finance/i-banking from the MMM program? I have heard mixed responses. Some say it's easier than the regular MBA since you are stronger in quant and others say it's harder since you are supposedly interested in mfg. Any comments?
