Hey guys
Just a quick intro about myself: I’m a 30 yr old female from Bangladesh, currently a startup entrepreneur. I have experiences in banking and tech management consulting (gov projects). I applied to a few schools last year and these are the choices that I’m trying to decide between now:
- Kellogg (80k scholarship)
- Wharton (no scholarship)
I intend to work in big tech post-MBA or even consider consulting (I’m open to explore). I want to eventually work Internationally at a city/country closer to my home, such as Singapore or Dubai or launch another company.
Stats:
GMAT: 730
WE: 96 months
CGPA: 3.43
Keeping my short term and long term aspirations in mind, which one should I go for?
I’m aware of the financial trade off of Wharton and I feel taking ~120k worth of extra loan might be too much of a burden. On the other hand, you can’t deny the brand name weight that a Wharton name carries. Ultimately, I can’t decide what really matters and whether the trade off might be too much.
Help!
