I am apparently the only person on this thread, but I'm in!! They actually told me during the interview, which was a little surprising. Waiting for scholarship package. Fingers crossed.

This is really surprising - Not sure if it is their standard procedure. Nevertheless, many congratulations on admit and thanks very much for sharing the updates with us.

May I request you to tell us a bit about your profile and your interview experience?

This is totally bragging but I'm still on an interview high so I don't care. I actually had my interview with the faculty chair; he said he pulled my application specifically to do the interview because he has the authority to offer admissions on the spot. So it did not seem standard.

Being that's the case, I'm not sure he asked standard interview questions. I did get the normal: why MBA, how will an MBA help with your short term goal, what would your team say is your greatest strength and weakness? But I got some very specific questions about my story-I'm in the energy industry so we had a discussion on that. He also asked me about my long term goal and how I would encourage innovation and creativity as a CFO (which I thought was a great question). Also a question on culture in my current company and my role in creating it (as luck would have it, I'm a member of the culture team!). Easy to interview with and we spent a lot of time talking about the Kelley program.

I'm not sure how much about my profile will help, but I'll share everything I can think of that I included in my app. I'm a CPA, working as a Director of Finance for an engineering consulting firm in the energy industry. Long term goal is a CFO in the same industry. 760 GMAT, 3.8 GPA from an no-name school. Six years of progressive accounting roles. I have two young kids and I'm the sole breadwinner for my family. I know that might not be relevant for many programs, but I got the feeling Kelley really prides itself on helping you fit a quality MBA into your life. And the more commitments you can show, the better. Oh, and I had some decent extracurriculars: treasurer of a 550 unit HOA and elected party official representing my district (sounds waayyyy more impressive than it really is!).

Finally got my recommendation letter in and application complete, waiting on my interview date now. Although given Kelzie's numbers I'm not sure how I feel about my chances haha.

690 GMAT, 2.3 GPA from top-40 school (but I'm 32, and have maintained a ~3.5 in 60 credits or so of college-level work since graduating), enlisted Army

I'm sure you'll get in just fine. My undergrad was beyond no name. Like, one step above Phoenix!
