Hi guys,
I have got admitted to both Krannert and Haslam with full tuition waiver+stipend.
Haslam's is dual MBA+MSBA while Krannert's is MBA-STEM( Analytics concentration). My goal is related to business intelligence functions after graduation.
Points:
1. Haslam is better ranked now ( 46 in the latest US rankings). Purdue has been dropping in rankings for the last few years ( around 80 now).
2. Both schools are focused on supply chains.
3. Does dual degree help international students more than a standalone MBA degree?
4. Knoxville has better weather?
5. Haslam has very few international students while half the students in Krannert are international.
Krannert has some mixed reviews here. But almost nothing on Haslam. Please help me decide!

Hello,
If I remember correctly Krannert analytics program has solid rankings. The MBA program takes some of its classes combined with the MS Analytics program at Krannert.
My source of information is the program managers for the MS Programa at Krannert. Best way to decide would be doing the following:
1. Get employment reports of last two batches. Ideally, look for the companies that are your target post graduation
2. LinkedIn research. The most important tool,shows how the graduates of the teo schools fared in previous batches. Also showcases the strength of the placement department
3. As per my research, Purdue placement department is average but their brand is well recognized across USA

The MBA-STEM program at Krannert is basically an MBA+MS in Analytics. Not sure if employers prefer a dual degree though.
