Last mile GMAT Prep Advice

Question

Hi Guys, I am listing down every thing here. Would appreciate some help from the community:

I sit on the  15th of July

Current Prep:   TTP (~5 months) and Gmat club (~1 month)

Target Score: 770

Current Diagnostic Scores:

Official Mock 1 (Last week):  710 (Q49 V 37) -- This was my first mock ever for GMAT since I had started my preparation. For Quant, I got 10 wrong (7 stupid mistakes like not reading the stem clearly and 3 questions I couldn't properly solve in time). For Verbal, I got 9 wrong (4 SC, 4CR, 1RC). I thought I was good at CR but clearly not. I worked on both, CR and SC for a week before my second mock.

Second official Mock (Yesterday):  740 (Q49 V 41) -- For Quant, I got 10 wrong again (5 stupid mistakes this time and 5 questions I couldn't properly solve in time). For Verbal, I got 5 wrong (1 SC, 2 CR, 2 RC). I misunderstood a part of the passage for verbal, hence the two wrong RC questions. For CR, I got a boldface question wrong and a support question wrong. Got one wrong in SC. Was stuck between two grammatically correct choices and picked the wrong one.

Questions:  I don't know why but my quant score is stuck at Q49 (need a Q50). I think I have gotten better at Verbal over the week and will continue to get better at it. Do you have any suggestions to improve my score at this point? I can put in the hours since I have taken two weeks off from work but I do not know how to maximize both of my scores to a 770.

Would recommend to use Forum Quiz. Attempt questions topic-wise to understand the strengths and weaknesses, and thereafter address the identified weaknesses.

Googling "how to go from Q49 to Q50" with the added keyword "gmatclub" may show some helpful posts you can check out. Have suggested Manhattan-Prep's 6th Edition for CR. For RC, becoming familiar with INFERENCE questions could be useful as well. Fair to say including Official 2022 questions and some more Official Mocks into your prep would be a solid choice (the Wiley version of the Official-Guide 2022 allows you to create practice sets).

They key to your scoring Q50+ seems to be reducing the number of careless mistakes you make in Quant.

One thing you could do to reduce the number of careless mistakes you make is visualize yourself getting all the Quant questions correct to set yourself up psychologically to get them all correct. I had an issue with careless mistakes in Quant and used visualization and other forms of inner work to get all the Quant questions correct when I took the test. If round that inner work works super well for improving GMAT performance, and many of my students have used it successfully as well.

Hi, I have bought the 4 other official mocks as well and will take them in the next two weeks (equally spaced out). I have the forum quiz and gmat club test subscription as well as the Wiley one. But the forum quizzes already have all the OG questions. What do you suggest?

I am currently doing the streak method for weaknesses. Also, should I be relying on third party resources i.e., Manhattan this close to the actual thing?
