Are You Up For the Challenge: 700 Level Questions

A+B=1000
A+(1000-A)=1000
Total Revenue=A*1500+(1000-A)*2000
From 1
A*1500+(1000-A)*2000=1,600,000
A=800
Sufficient
From 2
1500*A=3*(1000-A)*2000
A=800
Sufficient

given
Pa+Pb = 1000
Sa= 1500
Sb = 2000
find Pa

#1Last month, the manufacturer's total revenue from the sale of units of products A and B was $ 1,600,000.
1500*Pa+2000*Pb = 16*10^5
solve for Pa sufficient
#2
Last month, the manufacturer's total revenue from the sale products A was 3 times the manufacturer's revenue from the sale of units of product B.

1500*Pa= 3*2000*Pb
solve for Pa
sufficient

a+b=1000
1500a+2000b=sales

(1) Last month, the manufacturer's total revenue from the sale of units of products A and B was $ 1,600,000. sufic

1500a+2000b=1,600,000; substitute a=1000-b; b=200, a=800

1500a+2000b=1,600,000; substitute 1500a=3(2000b); b=200, a=800
