Laura’s bag contains 14 red marbles and 16 green marbles. If Laura selects one marble at random from the bag, what is the probability that the marble she selects will be green?

Red Marbles = 14
Green Marbles = 16

Total = 30 Marbles

Probability of selecting 1 green marble = \(16C1\)

Probability of selecting 1 marble out of 30 = 30C1

\(\frac{16C1}{30C1}\) = \(\frac{16}{30}\) = \(\frac{8}{5}\)
