Same here. Little bit disappointed as I've got a short (5-10 min) phone conversation for English check for non-native speakers just one day before the announcement. Anyways, should be realistic and strategic in the situation.
I wonder whether it is realistic to expect that they will make any movement on the end of Jan 2015. Any view on it?

Is there typical procedure for moving a wait list placement forward? At many US schools, I've heard of people actually meeting with AdComs reps and keeping in touch. Is this something that LBS expects or would it turn them off? Do we just...wait?

Peleve, waitlisted here as well. Any idea on what the chances are generally speaking and the people getting admitted/moved off waiting list - greater than 20% or 50%? Have to admit, there is a great temptation to just give up at this point....
Did you get any feedback on remedial action/what to improve? Look forward to hearing any experiences...

Humboldt, LBS doesn't normally give any feedback on what to improve. My wait list email made that pretty clear as well. I'm actually wondering if visiting the school and getting the opportunity to speak to an admissions manager would make any difference. For me, realistically, there's no way I will make any professional strides as my company knows I'm about to leave for bschool. And GMAT...well, some people decide to retake the GMAT to up their score for stronger chance. Might be an option for you if your GMAT is below LBS average (like mine).

I guess it is less and less about you and more about others: if they go for another school. I am visiting the school in May, but it may be too late. I was there already in october, I sent an update email that I think they liked. But I dont really believe anymore. If I got into LBS I would choose it over Sloan and I made it clear but still I think its more about the other guys with similar backgrounds.

Has anyone logged into their profile lately? My "last edited" date is no longer there. Now, I know the dates don't mean anything, but what does it mean when they're totally deleted?

Just from looking at last years slots- it seems the action does pick up towards the end of June when candidates need to cough up £6,000.... I only spotted one WL acceptance in May. But I wouldn't understand why more ppl are being put on the waitlist in round 3 if there wasn't a small chance that they would be needed.....
How does everyone feel on 19 May decisions? I'm feeling like there's probably only a 10pc chance on our status change; but it would be good to hear other news on this or views....would ppl stick to the process till 18 June? Is it worth it? Carrying on in limbo is a bit of an effort I've found....
