Hello prospective LBS MiM and GMiM folks! Hope your all doing well and ready for application season! This thread is dedicated to anyone interested in applying to LBS's MiM or GMiM programs!

We are going to post and discuss:
- Important updates regarding LBS MiM
- Tips from two current LBS MiM students to try help you in your applications
- If you have any questions post them

We know its a stressful and challenging time! We wish you all the best of luck with the LBS application's. You guys got this!!

Some Key Information

Deadlines (all 11:59pm UK time)
Round 1: Monday 3rd of October 2022
Round 2: Monday 9th of January 2023
Round 3: Monday 13th of March 2023
Round 4: Monday 15th of May 2023

Interview Decisions
Round 1: Thursday 3rd of November 2022
Round 2: Thursday 9th of February 2023
Round 3: Thursday 13th of April 2023
Round 4: Thursday 8th of Jun 2023

Interviews with LBS are mainly done virtually and will be conducted by either an alumni or a admissions officer. The interview will last up to one hour. There is no case study portion of the interview.

Application questions you may have
- Yes you need the GMAT or GRE (do whichever one you think you can do best in)
- References/ Referee: You only need one referee (although needs double checking) who can be either academic or professional. The referee will then be sent a form by LBS to complete which have various questions. It is your responsibility to ensure the referee completes this form before the application deadline to be eligible for that round.
- Application fee is £100
- Essays: you will have 5 medium sized written questions to answer and plan out (can be found when going through the application portal) as well as two big essay questions about learning outcomes at LBS and your contribution

Hey guys we have gotten a couple private messages about the importance of the GMAT. If you want more details send a PM. We just wanted to put a reminder that while the GMAT is essential LBS looks at every part of your application. People with scores bellow 700 get into LBS because of amazing work experience and clear goals/ ambitions. The GMAT is a very hard and very stressful exam. Give it your best shot but the essays are just as important and merit as much attention. Good luck to all of you passing the GMAT

Do not overthink it - for sure, a LOT of mistakes and so on is unpreferable, but if you have a stellar application besides some minor grammatical issues, I do not think you have to worry about it too muhc. And anyhow - nothing to do now right?

I think there is more a lakc of general interest in MsC at GMATCLUB. It is safe to that the LBS MiM is a good programme. Of course, it depends on what you want to achieve from it - but in terms of ranking and reputation, it is a good programme.
