Hi Guys,
Need some help deciding between the full fledged program (18 months program) at LBS and Kellogg MBA 1 Year. Just a quick background about me. I am an Indian male 31 years old. I am a Chartered Accountant by qualification and have done my education from Mumbai. I have been working with a mid market private equity fund for the last seven years.
My focus is to work for a larger private equity fund. Since i have never worked internationally i am unable to decide on which would be better suited for me.
My thoughts on Kellogg are:
Pros:
a) A one year course hence cheaper
b) Working in the US
c) One of the top four schools in the US
Cons:
a) Visa issues
b) Not a lot of diversity
c) Some employers might prefer 2Y candidates to 1Y candidates
d) No internship
LBS:
Pros: a) London location
b) Brand
c) Internship opportunities
d) Diversity
Cons:
a) Probably one of the more expensive programs cause of location
b) Tough to get scholarship
c) Visa issues for working in London/UK
I have tried to prioritize them in order of importance. thx
