First of all, I hope you are doing fine after the terrible blasts that rocked Moscow 2 days back.
You should be over with the interview by now. Hope it went off well. I would agree with you when you say that diversity is the word for the programme. Diversity in your undergrad education, diversity in your demographic profile, diversity in your career ambition. It certainly makes the class lively and gives an opportunity for maximizing your learning.
With regard to conversations with current students, those who had their interview at LBS might be better placed to answer. From the few current students that I have spoken to, I can feel their excitement totally. This opportunity in such an early stage of your professional career is something you should never miss, is what they say.

They released them today! saruba also got admitted! :DCongratulations on getting through SSE. That's a certainly a good backup option that you have now!!
With regard to your confusion between HEC Paris & LBS there is an interesting insight earlier in this thread given by guillaumeverdier, who is a French native and someone who got admits from both LBS and HEC paris (in specialized masters I guess). i am parikshit from india. i recently got an admission call for MIM programme at LBS. i wanted to know the placement situation and job prospects on campus. also tell me how this programme compares to the full-fledged 2 year programmes in other institutes.
