Hi All, I have started my GMAT preparation for the GMAT Exam in 2024. Since, it has been a longtime (almost 20 years) I am away from studies, due to which finding myself difficult with the foundation of Quants and Verbal. Can anyone please suggest me a good tutor or interested in helping me with my preparation from the scratch, it will be a great help. I would prefer online classes. Hey. I’m planning my take towards the end of August and have been preparing religiously lately! I’d be happy to spend an hour practicing Verbal daily! Let me know if this sounds good to you. Last time I checked, I was at around V35. It’s been a while since I’ve tested myself again but I’m sure I’m in a better place.

how many sales has he made? can anyone send this question solution

(X+2000)/n+1 = 900 ———- (1)
X/n=800 ——— (2)


From eq 1,
(X+2000)/900 = n+1
(X+2000)/900 - 1 = n
(X+1100)/900 = n
Put n from eq 2 on RHS
(X+1100)/900 = X/800
8x+8800 = 9x
X = 8800

Substitute this in eq 2,
n = 11
Including the big sale, n+1 = 12 sales

If s’s avg for 4 tests is 80 then the total must be 4*80 = 320. If he gets 80 on 3 tests that will be 240 and he has to get 80 on the 4th test for the average to be 80. So he will get 80 in 4 tests and not 3.
