Hi guys! I’ve been finding it a bit hard to stay consistent, so I’m looking for a study partner. We can set daily goals, check in with each other, and stay accountable together. Please DM if interested

My advice would be to break down statements into parts like subject, verb, phrases, and clauses. This helps you figure out what the main idea of the statement is and what’s just supporting information. In the beginning, do this slowly and try to understand as much as possible in your first read. Don’t try to skim or rush through it. For the statements you don’t understand, run them through an AI chatbot not just to get the meaning, but to learn how to break such sentences down yourself in the future. You’ll need to be a bit more analytical and strategic while reading. It’s totally fine if you take more time initially, just focus on improving your comprehension first. A general advice that works for a lot of people is to make yourself part of the conversation while reading, so you stay more engaged with what the author is saying. That usually helps in understanding the tone and structure of the passage. Once you’ve read the passage once, go to the questions and try to answer as many as possible without going back to the passage. That’s the habit you eventually want to build. I’d recommend doing at least 3 to 4 passages per day to build your technique and get more comfortable with reading. It also helps if you pick up some books or news articles in your free time to get used to the kind of vocabulary and writing style you’ll see in GMAT.
