Hi optmistic2016,

It's been a couple of weeks since you posted this information:

diagnostic-score-q31-v16-410-target-score-650-700-in-6-7-months-212821.html#p1641692

What work have you done since then? Since you're still early-on in the process, you might not need a tutor just yet.

Rich I am impressed with your observation/memory. I agree with you, at the moment I don't need any tutor as I am at the beginning of my preparation but I would probably need the tutor down the road for PS (Maths). The reason, I posted this because I want to assess how much does it cost and is there any option that I can even find online? Depending on what options, then I can make a decision, either I should take online course or take admission or 1:1 tutoring! Must be wondering - planning too much in advance - well by profession I am a project manager - can't help it :( - a bit organized!
I must say - those who have created this forum and supporting others - God bless them!

Hi optmistic2016,

Most GMAT Companies offer some type of free materials (practice problems, Trial Accounts, videos, etc.) that you can use to 'test out' a product before you buy it and some tutors will offer a free session so that you can get a sense of how tutoring would 'work.' We have a variety of free resources at out website (www.empowergmat.com). I suggest that you take advantage of all of the available options, then choose the one that best matches your personality, timeline and budget.

Hi Rich,
I will definitely go through the resources once I have completed the Verbal section.

Many thanks!

Hi SheetalG,

It's not clear whether you actually need a tutor or not. Before you spend a lot of money on that type of service, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

1) How long have you studied?
2) What materials have you used?
3) How have you scored on each of your CATs (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores)?

4) What is your goal score?
5) When are you planning to take the GMAT?
6) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
7) What Schools are you planning to apply to?
