I gave GMAT yesterday and got a 660 with q48 v34. But
My IR score was only 1.
Is there some possibility to aim for some good schools
With this condition?
I am planning to retake the exam in next 6 months after
Some prep to reach the 700 category

For the moment officially schools are not considering IR score for you evaluation (atleast that's what they say).
But soon it going to be 5 years of introduction of IR section in GMAT and as you would be aware that NO schools consider a GMAT score dated before 5 years. So, starting next application season (2018-2019), I think all schools will officially consider IR score as they will now have all applicants with an IR section score.
So, I think you should definitely give it a go and try to improve your IR score.
