I have re-started my GMAT Prep 2 weeks back (first I prepared in 2022 for the classic edition, failed miserably then). Only restricting my doubt to Verbal, during this period, I am having trouble maintaining consistency with my thinking ability. At times I feel I have a hot hand, blitzing through the questions, while other times retaining easiest of the details seems problematic (could be due to a "worn out" mind; I am simultaneously working full-time). Once I had a streak of almost 94% accuracy in CR easy question (attempted 31 Qs from the OG), when I tried another set of questions, I just got accuracy of 78% (attempted 19 Qs from OG). Without even looking at the answers, when I revisit those questions, I am myself able to spot the correct answer and frustrate over the fact that how could I even thinking of the answer I picked earlier. Also, I am not pressing myself against time, though, I still have a stop-watch in front of me to track time.
Seeking help straight-away since it's my prilimary stage and set of questions I am discussing are all rated "easy" by OG.

It could be that your approach to handling the questions isn't quite as tight as it could be. Any gaps in your approach or your conception of how to answer the questions can result in fluctuations in performance.
Also, you mentioned that you "frustrate" over the fact that you missed questions. That could be a sign that your internal messages or responses to issues are a little negative. Being a more positive coach to yourself could result in better performance since negative internal messages or responses can negatively affect performance.
You can some insights into how to tighten up your approaches to handling Verbal questions from this post.

Maybe change your method of practicing. Since you are starting your prep, focus on lesser no of ques per set and analyze those in depth as to why you got a question wrong and why you got it right. This can be really helpful. All the best!
