Thank You Shimri ! quick follow up question, should I raise my question on post mba goals at program events, and will they be able to connect me to someone who had similar post mba goals ? In your past experience, have you helped someone with similar profile and post mba goal as mine ?

of course, speaking to students, alumni and school reps is definitely a good way to a. get info and b. show interest at the school (which can help later with admissions)
GOOD LUCK!

Hi, I have a GMAT score of 680 (Q50, V31). Indian male.
B. Tech in Mechanical engineering 9.11 CGPA
M. Tech in Automotive engineering 9.36 CGPA
Participated in 2 national level competitions in B. Tech (National Go Kart Championship and Formula Student India)
Work experience:
3.5 years in Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India. Worked on automatic transmission of conventional, hybrid and electric vehicles. Developed a script in python to reduce manual time by 85%. Currently in Germany (for 6 months) to work on the latest project. Interacting with teams from different companies in different regions (India, Germany, Luxembourg)
Which B schools do you think I should aim for and how can I improve my overall profile?

SouriBhose hi,
1. The one way you can improve your overall profile, is to score a higher GMAT score, as you come from a very competitive pool of candidates...
2. your profile is good, but the GMAT might not be enough for the top US or EU schools (for example we did have an Indian male engineer with 670 who got offers from HEC, ESADE, IMD in Europe and a 680 Indian male engineer who just got into to Cornell and Georgetown. this year!!! but these kind of schools would probably be on your stretch side of the schools)

so, take the GMAT again (and again) you have time! and then feel free to send me your GMAT, CV, school wish list and other info to shimriw@aringo.com for a deeper profile analysis...
GOOD LUCK!
Currently my target B schools are Manheim, ISB, IMD, HEC Paris and Rotman. Do you think all of them are a stretch or within reach?

Hello Aringo, do you think a GMAT score of 600 is enough for Bocconi?
Hi, if your profile is super amazing and you come from a diverse background then yes. Bocconi also has their internal test and you can take that instead!!!

because 600 is quite low, so perhaps it is best to take that route...

OK, so let’s wrap up...

Thanks everyone for this session
I really enjoyed your questions and seeing such great profiles!

Shimri, here’s another question!
Say in US top 15-25 schools, when you hear the word "scholarships" what school/s came to your mind?! 😅 (as mentioned above - indian it male, 3.5 years WE, gre 330)

If you are looking for some general indication of which schools are relatively more generous with scholarships (Michigan and UCLA come to mind), take a look here:
