I agree with the other posters here. Keep the resume true to what it is. Chances are, you can use that real estate more effectively than to include a picture.

Also, a growing number of applications ask for a photo of you anyway so if you're banking on your good looks you'll still get your chance :)

Hi everyone!
I came across a resume with a picture of the person along with the name and contact details. The resume was eye catching and looked attractive. This made me wonder if I should include a picture with my resume for the application. Would it be an advantage to do that(give me points for standing out) or get me dinged? Dilemma.

I wouldn't do it. Most recruiters say it's unprofessional.
