Hi EMPOWERgmatRichC,

Here are my plan for the queries mentioned by you:

1) I'd like to work for current field i.e. telecom industry. But also open for any other field in finance and technology.
2) I am planning MBA will boost my career and give a thrust to enhance my personal, professional and financial abilities.
3) I intend to a full time MBA.
4) I'm ready to relocate. Specifically looking some good program in good b school in USA
5) Will like to apply for scholarships.

Adding to these answers, I like to add about me current status. presently I am working in a senior management profile in a telecom service company. Currently my salary is around 75K USD/annum.

So I am looking for a good position and good salary may be in same industry or different post MBA.

Please suggest ....

Hi GMAT39,
It is never too late to pursue your dreams. I'm in your situation and age with different scope. I'm international students like you. When I thought to apply MBA in the USA. I made extensive search, contacted many admission committee and talked to students and even traveled to the US to tour and attend some schools. You need to notice 2 things:
1- As i understand you are career enhancer, so there is some USA such propose you to go to one year mba. However, it is not the common. However, you can still find it this type in Cornell, Emory and Kellogg. You Must contact them to know their connections to your industry.
2- You have extensive experience. So the adcom assume you have shaped your dream, whatever you dream is and have solid base for it. otherwise, they will question your fit for MBA.
3- You can shine yourself and win scholarship as it is an automatic process within application. No need for separate application.

Good luck

Hi GMAT39,

Now that you've defined what you're looking for, you can start to research Schools/Programs and put together a list of the ones that best match your overall *wants.* I'm not an expert at defining every Business School that might be a good match for you, so you'll have to do that research on your own (and it needs to be detailed research, which might include contacting the Schools directly to ask your questions - if you can't find the information that you're looking for on the websites for the various Programs).

1) Do you have an idea about when you might want to apply to Business School?
