Hi debonosan,
I am going to apply for a MBA course in Japan this year too.

I would like to share some of my uni in my list:
1. Keio and Waseda: Good reputation but a bit expensive. GMAT requirement is around 600
2. Hitotsubashi: You can study 1 year, and 1 year for internship. Gmat 650, cheap cause it is national uni
3. Private
- Ritsumekan: I used to applied for this some years ago, and I decided not to enroll it.
- International university: Good one actually

If you wanna work and live in Japan after graduation, my suggest is 1 and 2
Good luck!

is it really 600 for Waseda? some source claims that they actually have wide range between 480~660.
sure, better the score better the chance but isn't that score for scholarship requirement?

MS and M.Tech are best in Japanese university. But I can’t say the same thing for MBA.
Non-native speaker must learn Japanse language in order to get Job in Japan. JLPT N2/N1 certification is what recruiter looks for. In my opinion Waseda & Keio are the university one must look for. Good luck!
