One helpful resource for $4.99 could be Admissionado's Resume Guide (if not too late)

Unless you are applying to it executive program do not do this. It's not standard and it will impede them from seeing how your resume will look for the resume book (recruitment)

Whatever you want to express in the summary that will capture their attention should be Illustrated in your recommendations your essays the body of your resume, and the interviews.

The purpose of that area would be to let them know what you're known for professionally, which can be expressed in your Linked summary.

I've decided to put a summary/highlight section at the beginning of my resume. However, I feel that most of the points I want to put in this section are already mentioned in a different section of my resume. Do you think this is acceptable or redundant and should be avoided?

I just want to clarify the rules about linking to resources offered by admissions consultancies, I did this once before and workout told me that it was illegal.

He makes exceptions for for me :-)

On a serious note, it is different when someone is tuting their own horn vs a neutral party recommending something.

bb okay, well I was not promoting anything I had published (not tooting my own horn) but was linking to something from another consulting firm exactly what you are doing here. I feel like it's a very helpful resource, and not being able to talk about it I feel is a great disservice so that's why I'm pressing the issue. Can PM you abt it if that is best.
