Are they gonna call us on Thursday?? Are they going to say whether we are getting any $$$ as well?

For Round 1 calls went out early in the work day EST. Scholarship info was disclosed on the offer letter.

My support for Georgetown through the tournament is entirely dependent on Thursday's decision. :)

Posted from my mobile device

I've been actively rooting against them since my WL. Hold a grudge much? You bet I do, lol

"Unfortunately" I have to support them through the Final Four assuming they make it that far, haha.

Anyone here a dual degree applicant? I applied to the MBA-MPP program, have interviewed with MSB but haven't heard anything from the Public Policy Institute... Wondering if any dual degree applicants have heard from the second school?
I also applied MBA/MPP and I got my admit from GPPI last Wednesday in an email. I don't think there's a set decision date with GPPI though. They might just send out decisions over a period of time.

I will be doing the same if I get WL/Ding this week. Lucky for me, my undergrad is a higher seeded contender.

That's brutal, I don't think I could take it. These 3 days is enough.

To be fair, I'm not applying to the same program you are. In a way with the NCAA Basketball tournaments going on right now though, it's a perfect distraction to have.

You're right...the evening program deadline was after the FT - I've put my dues in. NCAA will be a nice distraction, I agree.

The only thing I have to distract me this week are these damn TPS reports.

Going to be withdrawing my waitlist due to receiving a full tuition fellowship from Cornell. Hopefully this bumps someone up a spot and gets them in.

Good luck all

Wow, congrats on the full-ride to Cornell!

So what happens, let's say, on Thursday, we're getting good news, but also waiting for decisions from other schools? What's the typical timeline to have to put down a deposit for McDonough?

The McDonough application information says round 2 deposits are due May 1st. You can see it here: https://student.msb.edu/news/mba/ft_2011 ... 0final.pdf

I would say about 2/3. This is skewed downward because Georgetown allows R1 full time applicants to schedule an interview on their own.

So for R2 and R3, I'd say that interviewees have a high chance of getting in because the adcom is inviting them, not the other way around.

Applications (admitted and denied) to the newest class: 1,323
Applicants who were accepted to the most recent class: 49 %
Admitted applicants who enrolled in the newest class: 39 %
Applicants who were re-applicants from prior years: 4 %
Percentage of this year's reapplicants accepted: 48 %

~68% according to Business Week's statistics last year. Who knows how much that varies year to year though.

Still, great chance the applicant gets admitted, so my 2/3 guess is pretty close.

This year, I'd imagine that there will be fewer applicants due to national trends.
