I think most people got in without scholarship, so thank you guys for everything but as much as the school’s name is important, I would not be willing to pay that for a top 30 school.

Pushpendu’s profile:
• 34 year old male from India
• Worked with hp,Logica,PwC,CGI,Wipro for around 11 years. Achieved three promotions and now in a lead role (Lead Assistant Manager). Mostly worked in India, but had a couple of stints in the South Africa of 1 month.
• Graduated from Techno India with B.Tech. (Electrical Engineering) in 2008 with a GPA of 7.77 (out of 10)
Extra-curricular:
• Participated actively in the organization of college fest, gathering funds from both alumni and sponsors and planning the event calendar
• A photography enthusiast, did several online courses on photography, right from learning the basics to gathering knowledge on sepecific topics, like wildlife photography

Targeting top schools in Europe and US
Would my college GPA affect my chances of getting into the top European schools? If yes, then in what range should I score on the GMAT to get a realistic chance of getting in?
Which colleges should I realistically target having a low GPA?

I just saw a few posts on the Georgetown Living and stuff questions. Georgetown has a welcome website that will guide you on everything DMV. Most students live in Arlington Virginia from where they can get a Bus service to Georgetown. There are many more things but this is just one of them. Also, since Georgetown shares boundary with White house, you will be in a very secure and safe area. It is the safest city in USA for a reason

No need to accept anything until Feb 8. After paying deposit I’m not sure if there is scope for negotiation. It might be difficult at that point but I’ll let someone like Businessconquerer comment on that.

No man they just know that you are interested. But the deposit can be paid later. It is in all schools mostly.

yES. Scholarship depends on - Promotion, GMAT, Another competitive offer that can affect Georgetown’s rankings

Yes. Get an alumnus to send in a mail to the DOA. If you know one, even better. These referrals are a way to demonstrate persuasive ability and also shows that a Hoya vouched for you. But remember, if you ask for a referral, you need an absolutely strong reason to not go because then it goes negatively. Even though there are no consequences to that- you still lose a valuable network should you be in the DMV area in future. But it won’t be significant. 20-30k more. Still converting to INR that means a fortune.

Hey I watched it too. I really liked the first one. This one lacked epic-ness (Get the sentiment not the word) but the shots were good as a set up for her next. DC has the best characters, hands down on that.

why do you think? Market information to match with past data on what kinds of students are getting in and what kinds are rejecting offers so that they can manage the acceptance rate- helps in rankings. Also there are other major factors- will this student be able to finance it or just gonna get in a 200k debt that is not coming off anytime soon
