Congratulations to all those of you admitted. For those of you needing help with a ding or waitlist analysis and an action plan forward, don’t hesitate to reach out!
Thank you for sharing the outcome everyone! I know this process can be very stressful. If you could, please update your decision trackers on GMAT club to help even more people in the community!

For R1 it was $3000 split into two payments. $2000 in January and $1000 before April. For R2, amount would be the same but not sure if you can split the payment. Check your booth enrolment page.

I asked this question to Duke adcom yesterday and they said that they allocate scholarships based on how many spots they offer that year, so even if you get in off the waitlist you can still be offered a scholarship

That happens all the time. A good score doesn’t guarantee you a stop, although a bad one can hurt your chances.

Booth doesn’t match other schools’ scholarships. They even stated this when I asked for scholarship reconsideration. They do not do need-based either. What you can do however is to highlight the things in your application that you think makes you eligible for a merit based scholarship and submit the reconsideration form. They will get back to you in a month or two. At least that was the case in R1. Decisions were out on November 30th and scholarship reconsideration results came out before Feb 7th.

Giving international students admission without funding is more like rejection. You would not even get Visa

They’ll let you know the decision of scholarship reconsideration request before deposit deadline with that deadline as the latest date for them to get back. You can also mention the date on which you want to hear the decision by in the reconsideration form and they’ll most likely honor it.

keep in mind that when I said Feb 7th was the deadline in R1, it was the deadline to act on your offer date and people heard back before that date.

I was an R1 waitlist and I heard the news on R2 decision day. I haven’t heard stories where waitlist results were given earlier than the next round decision date. Not sure about any outliers.

@soanpeak - Thank you for your quick response! Any stats on how many students get admitted from the waitlist pool? I’m an international student, so I have to initiate visa work for another school I got admitted prior to hearing from Booth R3 decision day..

Wish I had an answer for that man. I tried to look for that myself but to no luck. It depends year to year and round to round is what I was told everytime I asked the question.

There’s slack for which you’ll receive an email from school inviting you to join the group. There’s https://gmatclub.com/chat too that one admit created but he sent out those links in slack too. So please join slack when you get an invite.

If it’s a job update or test score, update your CV /test score on the portal. Then send an email to the admissions email address highlighting the change.

So it is more of a new project that I did for which I utilized Booth resources

You can write an update on it and send to the admissions email. You can also add it to your CV if it improves it or has another achievement

Hey guys! I got rejected during R2 application cycle after the interview. However, recently received an email from Admissions Director of Booth’s EMBA to apply for the EMBA program. Does Booth generally reject candidates who have higher work ex (approx 10 years in my case; age 30) and recommend them for the EMBA program?
Greatful for any insights on this since I have another full time MBA offer I’m considering for this fall.

Yes, from what I have seen and know of, Booth does try redirecting such profiles to their EMBA.

Certainly doesn’t hurt to try so go for it but almost all, if not all T20 schools probbaly would not provide any feedback. A few might for waitlist.

Yes. Cornell slack has about 600+ students while Cornell only has 300 seats. It includes pretty much all those who were extended an offer
