Hi guys. I am not sure if the classes will go online. I attended the webinar organized by the college, but all they said is that they are still expecting to have classes as usual and expect us to attend in person. How many international students are here? Have you guys applied for your CAQ? If so, any news from those folks?

march is the deadline for canadian citizens, internationals need to apply a bit earlier for our visa application to come through. You can send them a mail confirming that if you want.

570 isnt bad for starting, if you prepare for a month of two you can easily get a 650+ by december which is enough to get you through

i have my first gmat without any prep, hence the 460. I didnt even study for a day and just went to see what the experience is. The 650 is after 2 months of prep from youtube and OG’s as i mentioned

My gmat score is 640 (Q48 V28) IR - 6.
I am just looking around for bschools. Not sure which one is suitable for me yet.

Profile -
Indian male
High school (12th standard) - 93.2%
B.Tech in computer science engineering - VIT University - Gpa - 7.96. ( = 4.00 as per mba.com conversion). Graduated in 2019.

Work ex -
product developer in Wipro Technologies. - 1.5yrs approx. (june 2019 - present)

Extra curricular - cultural internship as a global volunteer in Egypt though AIESEC ( kind of a NGO) for 6 weeks. (1.5 months)
- project name - Enable Egypt : no poverty.

Planning to apply for 2022 intake. (when work ex =3yrs)
And keeping my options open to Mba, tech mba, Ms in Business analytics.

Hi Dasvanth, It all depends on your overall profile. The most popular methodbeing the CRS Point system. (express entry) You can check how many points you anticipate to have at the end of the MBA/PR. Then check out the amount of points that have been historically called (and applicants invited to apply for PR)

Has anyone received a decision on the Master of Science (MSc) program (matriculating in Fall 2024)? I applied for the Master of Science in Finance (supervised project) in February 2024 and am currently waiting for a decision. Please let me know if you have heard back from HEC Montreal; I’m quite nervous.
