Is it worth retaking a 730 GMAT to get off the waitlist? Part of me feels like this isn’t a major reason why I was waitlisted.

yeah that’s a good strategy. I think with the limited materials that they allow now it’s kind of hard to demonstrate how much you’ve changed in a two month period. I would love to write a letter to the committee but they don’t take that anymore (I don’t think).
