Don’t spend too much time on the long passages. Wrap up SE and TC first followed by the smaller RCs. Leave the longer ones for the end. Even if it involves 3 to 4 questions around them.
Used this to get 164 in verbal

10th : 10CGPA
12th: 93% CBSE
UG : 8.95 CGPA in mechanical engg
Gender : Female
Work exp : 5.8 years in leading steel manufacturing industry with career progression in three years(considered fast as compared to peers)
Hobbies : classical singing n dancing
Have some work related achievements
GMAT : yet to take (hitting 650-660 in official mocks)
Planning to apply : IIMA n IIMB


Suggest if I should apply this year in R3 or try scoring better ?

Hi how is the GMAT Focus score of 635 for ISB R2. I am from IIT and have experience in management consulting (in a company which comes to ISB for placement). Have 95% in 12, 10/10 CGPA in class 10 and 8.3 GPA in college. Have done startups as well apart from consulting. I just got the score and feeling worried if I should apply in R2 or not - as in practice tests i was getting 635 to 685. Please suggest.

635 is 680 on old GMAT, there have been people with admits with a 680 but target 665 i.e. 720 on old to be on the safe side, imo

Yeah thinking for another attempt. I was getting 635 to 685 in official practice. I screwed up on the final day.

Hello, my Gmat exam version shows only "GMAT" written below it. However, I took a sample test Gmat exam 3, and it turned out to be GMAT Focus edition.
Can someone please confirm what will be the format of my exam, Gmat old version or Focus edition ?

Hi i just gave gmat focus yesterday and i just remember my final score and not the breakup/percentile of each of the quant, verbal and di scores. Also i dont have an option to send score to isb until i get official score. Today is the last day for 3rd round and i want apply but they are not picking up the phone. Also these questions are compulsory in the isb application. I cant submit without these. How should i go ahead. Request urgent revert.

Today has a Q&A session with ISB. They clarified that you can put your overall score and put 1 for sectional scores if you don’t remember. Do send the official score later and a mail to ISB
