Hey guys,
I recently took my first GMAT Prep evaluation test. I received a 720, but there was a huge discrepancy between my verbal and quantitative scores. I received a 44Q (63rd Percentile) and a 45V (99 Percentile). Now, it's pretty obvious I need to go brush up on my math skills. However, I took a look at what I did wrong on Verbal, and four out of the five questions I missed were regarding sentence correction. I've heard a lot of praise for
MGMAT's Sentence Correction, but is it useful for someone in my situation? I understand that quantitative definitely deserves most of my attention, but at the same time, if
MGMAT's SC book makes it possible for me to eliminate all my sentence correction mistakes, I might as well capitalize on it. I'm shooting for taking my GMAT by the end of this school year. I'll only need it when I'm applying for Master's in Management programs in two years, but I'd like to get it out of the way to focus my attention on preparing for stuff like case interviews.
Thanks in advance.
