I just took the
MGMAT test 1 after i reset the question bank.
I have already given my gmat once in april of 2010- scored a 660. I had taken all 6 tests from Dec of 2009 to April 2010. Those scores always averaged between 650- 700 with the average being around 660.
Yesterday, after almost a year i gave the gmat test again (i used a new code to register). I didnt remember any of the questions from the previous attempt - hence i dont think i was in any advantage but i scored a 750. My quant went pretty bad - i scored a 48 (87 percentile) and verbal was much improved -44 (98 percentile)
I was pleasantly surprised as this was the first exam this time around. I spent a lot of time looking improving verbal but my quant prep was the same with the only change - i paid more attention to the first 10 questions.
Now, before i feel good about myself and the score i want to know if any other factor could have caused my score to be higher
- Such as, More unused 700-800 Questions in the gmat bank , hence more of them showing up on my exam?
Any thing else that you can think of. It will be especially helpful if you have also made a second attempt in
MGMAT after resetting the question bank. Please let me know if i can pat myself on the bank or just attribute this to the second attempt.
Of course i have a long way to go and i dont want to lose focus!
