Hello everyone,
I
posted earlier to help me decide between Ross and Tepper at the end of round 1. A vast majority of you voted in favor of Ross, and I ended up submitting my deposit there. I was eventually accepted off of the waitlist at Anderson, so now I am in a position where I have to decide between Ross and Anderson.
To reiterate a few key items from my previous post:
• I have an undergraduate degree in Computer Science and 5+ years' experience in Tech consulting
• I want to transition to Big Tech in a Product Management role
• I am also very interested in entrepreneurship and would also love to try and work on my startup ideas in school
• Given a choice, I would like to stay on the west coast
• Ross is offering $40k in scholarship and Anderson is offering $30k. Even with the $10k difference, Anderson's tuition ends up being about $5k cheaper than Ross. All things considered, the cost differential between the schools is negligible and is a non-issue in my decision-making process
From all my research and speaking to current students and alumni, Anderson seems to have a slight edge for Tech and entrepreneurship given its west coast location and the number of students choosing to enter the tech industry. I would appreciate if anyone has any thoughts or inputs on my situation.
Thanks!
