Hey!
I am in the middle of college hunting for my applications..
I know MiM is great in europe and has really good schools, but i do want to apply to a few in US as well.
From my research I've found these univeristies:
1. Duke Fuqua MMS
2. Michigan Ross MMM
3. Kelloggs MiM
4. Booth MiM
I havent been able to find any information from alumni of these uni giving a review on how good they really are. When i go on linkedin i havent found anyone from Booth or Ross. And whoever i see from duke/ kelloggs has returned back immediately to their home country.

Anyone here who could review these colleges and suggest good colleges in the US? I would be greatful!
Thanks a lot!!

PS:
In case you want a comparison for US vs EU, In europe im applying to:
1. INSEAD
2. LBS
3. ESSEC
4. ESCP
5. ESMT Berlin
4. Frankfurt School of managment

I am an indian female, age 23, I have 1 year of work ex in consulting at the big 4 ( will have 2 years when i join any uni in 2025)
@Sarah967744 -

Given your work-ex (2 years as of 2025), you could apply to MiM now or apply to MBA programs a year or two later. This, and the right mix of schools would depend on several key factors such as these. I also suggest checking out this article on the Key Differences between an MBA and MiM

Remember that MiM is primarily an Europe/ UK thing. While the US colleges do rely on the strength of their parent/ flagship MBA programs, their MiM programs still have a long way to go. This is something to keep in mind, when considering your mix of MiM programs. To that end, if relocating to the US is your priority, applying to MBA programs a year (or two) later could be a better strategy.

On the European front, the MiM programs in your mix (I'd add HEC) are among the top ones (check out this list), and typically feeders for entry/ lower-mid level management positions within EU/ UK (and perhaps Middle East). INSEAD's MiM program is relatively new though, compared to the other EU/ UK ones.

Feel free to reach out for a deeper chat.

Arvind

Sarah967744     I am glad you asked here. When in doubt, it's best to contact admissions directors directly and get answers to your questions. An important part of any application to a B school is convincing the admissions officers that you have researched the school and that it matches your goals. Admissions officers would appreciate your feedback, as there is not enough transparency or information available to interested applicants about what the school offers and the career that follows. Ask them to route you to people who can give you a first-hand overview and they will be happy to do so.

Since you asked about US schools, here is my brief assessment
Salary - You can expect to recoup the cost of the program in at least a year, so the expected salary is at least the amount you would spend on tuition at any program. If a top school can not justify the salary outcome, it will not be able to justify the cost either. Having said that, there are always uncertainties around visa issues in the US, thats something you will have to live with if you decide to go.

Selection and prior education - You will notice that Duke and Kellogg allow students with undergraduate business degrees to apply, while Booth and Michigan are geared more towards those without a business background, which you should also consider. This means that Booth and Ross prefer a specialized background rather than a general business/BBA degree. This may be related to the type of recruiting pipelines these schools rely on (sector consulting or management positions)

Experiential learning opportunities - All of these programs give you the opportunity to work with a real company on a real case. Many students are hired by companies they have worked with on campus projects, or these companies are happy to refer these candidates to other similar (or other organizations).

Feel free to speak for a candid discussion for US or European MiM programs

Best wishes

Hi there,
Several other US schools offer MiM programs you should consider - Columbia, Yale, MIT and more.
