MIT EMBA: Need to Take Calculus/Statistics Before Applying?
The MIT EMBA program requires that candidates have completed one course in calculus and one class in statistics with a grade of B or better before matriculating. If you have not completed these courses, don’t worry! You can apply to the EMBA program before you have completed those courses. It is usually possible for a candidate to complete the required courses before the program starts, even if they begin the courses only a few months before matriculating. If you reach out to the school, someone in the admissions office can point you to online calculus or statistics courses to consider.
If you took these courses earlier in your academic career and earned a grade lower than a B, just know that those poor grades need not stand in the way of admission. You can enroll in the course(s) now and make progress in completing them with a grade of B or higher.
