pray tell, what do you consider "hardcore engineering" and "executive level" projects?

Yeah I agree with you LGOorBust. I work at MIT LL so when someone says "hardcore engineering," I immediately become suspicious.

I wonder if the LGO program office is still debating about a few students or if they have everyone picked? I imagine it is a process similar to a panel of judges with our credentials and application spread out in front of them, while they debate about how to create a diverse program with future "global leaders." I don't think GMAT or GPA factors in after the interview. I think it was your interviewer pleading your case in front on Rod based on an interview that happened 2 months back...

So you guys think Vicky will call everybody on Sunday? All 55? I read that she takes a few days, but being that things are sent via regular mail most probably her call will come first, is that your impression? I think I won't even leave home on Saturday, just in case they decide to call earlier!!! (Being optimistic)

Well... I'm glad to see I'm not the only one going crazy waiting for Monday to come along...
So, what is this about them telling us on Sunday? where did that come from?
My best friend is already an LGO '11, and he said he got two calls on decision day. One sometime in the morning from Vicki asking him if the number she called on was the best one to reach him on for the rest of the day, and a second from Don Rosenfield in the eraly evening telling him that he was accepted.
He said he was not able to concentrate or do anything after Vicki's call... that's crazy!
So what are you guys doing to pass the time until then???
I'm gonig fishing Sunday... a few beers, the forest, the river... hopefully very relaxing, hehehehe....

a sensor that measures electrolytes in the blood using an ion exchange membrane and high impedance glass.

I hope that exact sentence did not appear in your essays as written. I have no idea what you just wrote :( BTW I will be flying out of the country on Saturday night so if I was lucky/good enough to get into the LGO, I will be missing the phone call on Sunday. This will be an interesting weekend

If you read through this thread from last year, here's how it went down:
Decisions mailed on Friday
Those accepted got calls on Sunday
Acceptance packages or Dings arrived in the mail next week

From your info it sounds like the calls could happen on both Sunday and Monday, so at least if we don't hear by Sunday there may still hope.

Gonna be a long weekend!

Hello all... I am eagerly waiting the Sunday/Monday decision as well.

Just saw this on their website:

How will I receive notification of LGO's admissions decision?
LGO will mail admissions decisions on March 8, 2010 to all applicants. LGO does not notify applicants online or via phone.

I'm not sure if that's new or not. In any case, good luck.

As of today, exists a letter for each of us with the result of our admission process in it. It is done.

May the force be with you.
