Hi All,
I badly need some help.
I already have a ~decade old PGP degree from one of the IIMs in India. I now have ~10 years of work experience in managerial roles in SC/Operations domain across 1 Indian and 2 MNC companies.
I am very eager to work on newer aspects of SC, like digital SC, leveraging Big Data or AI driven networks.. also certain family related issues are also compelling me to shift my base to US for ~5 years and I would rather invest this time in education.
I am seeking a short term MS degree from US (which comes with 3 year OPT)
My GMAT score: 730: Q50, V37, IR 7, AWA 3.5
I am thinking of two possibilities (SCM/Ops or Business Analytics/MSBA), I am comfortable with both, have a natural inclination towards numbers and data, and have kept myself updated by picking up R, Python in last few years(Prior background with coding has helped)
My shortlisted colleges:
SCM:
1. MIT SCM
2. Ross MSGSC
3. ??
I am not able to figure out this list, what are some other reasonably good colleges in US that I can target for MS SC courses?
Any inputs will be really appreciated!
Hi
BPSI'm happy to help you.
You targeted good SC programs.
Both programs you mentioned are great but you want to take closer look.
MIT Residential master is designed for early career. Taken into consideration how MIT is picky, I might be (not sure) that they prefer 5 years experience.
The Ross is more traditional one with option to take some electives in data analytics.
I may add something to you Supply chain analytics program in other school. Let me know your thoughts, if you only target those high schools. Also, there is an option MBA + MSBA (but you need to justify the other mba), So you can enjoy a scholarship but it will be longer in most cases ( 3 years)
