Answer (A) is correct since it uses the correct "as...as" structure. Also, "at temperatures" is idiomatic.
Answer (B) is incorrect because "...temperatures so low -30..." is incorrectly coordinated. We need something after "low" to properly connect "-30 degrees f.." to the rest of the sentence.
Answer (C) is incorrect because it does not complete the "as...as" structure. Also, the construction "at as..." is faulty.
Answer (D) is incorrect because it does not complete the "as...as" structure.
Answer (E) is incorrect because it does not complete the "as...as" structure. Also, "little" is used with noncount nouns. Degrees are countable so we would not want to use "little."
