Molly took a car for rent for her vacation trip. The company that rents the car decides its cost using the function C(x) = x + 5 (y -5), where x is the base price and y is the distance travelled in miles travelled. If Molly paid a total of $250, what is the distance she travelled?

I. Had Molly travelled double the distance than her current trip, she would have paid $350

II. The base price is $175

statement 1: 250=175+5(y-5) , we can solve and get ans. so state1 is sufficient

statement2: 250=x+5(y-5) ---1 and 350 = x+5(2y-5)-----2 solving we get ans, so state 2 is sufficient to ans

option D is correctt
