awkward, and wrong comparison
Also I think it should be adapted to
(B) Adapted more completely for tree life than any of the anthropoids,
Adapted to
(C) Being adapted more completely to tree life than any of the other anthropoids are,
Correct. Though being is used.

I think comparison with the adaption is wrong

Seems wordy to me, but can't really Eliminate out for other reason (is 'that possessed' correctly corresponding to 'adaptation to life in the trees'?)
