Hi All,
I've been studying for the GMAT since Jan of this year in the following order.
1. Kaplan Math Review Workbook
2.
MGMAT Guides : Sentence Correction
All the Quant Guides.
I took my first
MGMAT three weeks ago and here are my scores thus far
MGMAT 1: Q30 , V23 : 490
MGMAT 2: Q24, V31 : 470
MGMAT 3: Q30, V32 : 520
GMATPREP 1: Q20/37
V17/41 (I moved on before writing down but I think this cam out at about 450-470)
A couple of points to note, the questions both verbal and quant where much trickier in the GMATPREP. Not harder mathematically but just trickier.
I ran the
MGMAT assesment reports so I'm aware of the multitude of area where there is needed improvement. Another element I noted was that when I'm thinking I'm doing well I'm not. I thought I did much better in
MGMAT 2 and GMATPREP1 (particularly in Verbal on the latter a V17 is just unacceptable).
I'm studying 3 hours midweek and anywhere from 3 - 10 hours a day at the weekends. (the latter being the majority at the moment).
Question. I have one month till the GMAT proper and I need to be scoring 600. Do I
A. Forget about doing the GMAT in a month and push it out
B. Concentrate on taking practice tests , reviewing anwers and improving in that manner or
C. Use the assesment reports and concentrate on strategy in my weak areas.
Time-wise I think I'm at my limit (if not over it) with regards to how much I can actually do and still retain what I'm learning.
Advice, pretty please
