Hi all,

My brief profile below:

Total Exp - 9 years

Qualification - Undergrad - Computer Science + MBA Marketing from Indian Bschool (Top 20)

Background - PreSales and Business Development

Currently with a Big4 in India.

I am exploring 1year courses in the US for career change. I am looking to apply for the 2023 batches.

With Business Analytics coming up as a career options,

Will it be useful to pursue MS Business Analytics and related courses, given my profile?? What are my other options.

Please help!!!

Looking for some valuable suggestions.

Hi, Why can't you think for an MBA abroad? You already did an MBA in India and have 9 years of experience. If you do an MBA, then only a career shift will be easy.

But by the time I apply I will have more than 10years experience. Could be on the higher side for most MBA programs. Do you know of any examples of similar situation like mine.

Hey gsmohanty,
I must say that you have a decent profile. You have mentioned that you are working in a Big 4 currently and this is a highlight of your profile.
As you already have a work experience of 9 years and by the time you think of applying, it would be around 12 years of experience which is a bit on the higher end for MS in business analytics.
I would suggest you look for an Executive MBA as that would suit your profile more.
Though you can mail your target schools and confirm once about the eligibility for the MS in analytics program.
