Okay! In that case, you should be a good candidate. The key now is for you to ace the application itself including essays, CV/resume, letters of rec, etc.

Please reach out to us (or others) if you believe you need assistance in this regard.

What do you think about my profile?

21yo
GPA 30.85/30 (Italian non target) - 1 year of Erasmus.
No relevant work experience, I've been volunteering for a few years.
Gmat focus 665 (94th): VR 85 (96th), DI 83 (96th), QR 82 (76th) -- This is my 2nd take
One month ago I got 645 (89th): VR 88 (99th), DI 82 (94th), QR 75 (35th).

What do you think about my chances? Should I keep working on the gmat for an higher score?

g_giaimo02 - some thoughts on your profile:

1. The GPA and GMAT score are fine for Bocconi. Would suggest strengthening your overall application, to increase the odds.

2. Your Erasmus exposure and exchange are interesting. Some points to ponder on, to craft a strong narrative: what are your post-Masters goals? what are your transferable skills (i.e. hard/ soft skills) from your experiences? where does Masters (and Bocconi) fit in i.e. what gaps would it address, and how? what's plan B?

3. Your instagram promotion/ advertising stint can help with the EC angle i.e. what skills you picked up, and how it'd help you in/ post Masters

Hope this helps a bit. Feel free to reach out through the links below for a deeper chat, or if you need support on your application.

I am a student, I recognise that my CV is a bit weak, university in Italy is quite heavy, it does not leave much time for extracurricular activities.
As I wrote, I took advantage of an Erasmus+ scholarship for a 10-month exchange in Europe, plus a second one for a short two-week exchange.
I also created an instagram profile that I manage with over 25k followers that deals with territorial promotion and advertising cooperation with companies.
I don't think I experienced much else relevant.

Hey g_giaimo02:
As previous posters said, your
Profile & GMAT are quite decent (but not stellar); you will therefore need your accomplishments to come out well;
Also ensure to discuss your LORs with your recommenders, and refresh their memory with your strengths and relevant examples, because those would also be key components to strengthen your application.

Hello g_giaimo02,

Thanks for writing in.

We feel like you have a good case in hand for Bocconi; however, a lot really depends on how well you project your strengths through a set of compelling essays and how logically you link them with your interests and future goals.

Good luck!
