Hi
I just cleared my CFA Level 3 and was hoping to apply to MBA programs in US, but the program cost in USD is a big concern for me. (
How I wish there were a gold standard in currency), so I'm inclined to pursue a MSF degree instead.
My goal is to take up a job outside India (US/Singapore/HK/London) after the program is over since opportunities in India seem pretty limited.
1. Is it a good idea to go for MSF or go for an expensive MBA ? (I'm pretty sure I want to stay in Finance during my lifetime)
2. What schools should I target with the following profile (
Is MIT Sloan possible?):
a. 740 GMAT
b. CFA Level 3 Cleared
c. Total 3 Yrs of Work Exp with Deutsche and Fidelity Investments
d. Engineering Degree from Topmost Engineering Colg in India with >3 GPA (Haven't calculated exact since grading system is different)
e. FRM Level 1 Cleared
Any help is appreciated. Peace
